California Net Metering

I've just done some preliminary research on selling back to the Utility, in my
case PG&E California. They apparently will only "buy back" on units larger
than 30KW!

I heard that you can get a subsidy for a 1kw system in CA, check here:

And they have to do net metering by law:

Keep in mind that "Buy Back' is a different thing from "Net Metering". With net
metering if you generate more in a month that you use you don't get paid for
it.
