Solar animal stock water tanks heaters?

Just for clarification on the way these tanks operate. Water pipe come
from well under ground, mine is at 2ft, goes through a hole in the side
of the vertical tube mentioned previously and up through the center. The
tube goes down 4 to 5 ft and allows warmer ground heat to come up and
keep the tank from freezing, the tank sits directly on top of the tube
and the ground heat comes up through a hole in the middle of the tank.
If you have issues with loosing electrical, then you would not have
water automatically, but I suppose you could fill it manually as you
would have to do anyway.
