Subject: [simplyoffgrid] Re: Tankless Hot water heaters

I don't know about other brands but my ecotemp uses less than a
gallon of propane a month for one person showering 4 times a week
average and washing dishes twice a week. There is no pilot so no
waste. It uses two D cell batteries to light pilot and I have not
changed them in over a year (probably should) and still lights
instantly. They also make these with a low oxygen shut off and I
recommend a CM detector to be safe.
