Question Bio-Diesel Kit

I hate to open the can of worms, but.....here goes: An engineer I work
with has asked me to look over a kit available from this website
http://biodiesel.homeip.net/

I looked it over, and it looks well enough. He has a catering business
on the side, doing fried catfish for fund raisers and such, so he has
excess fry oil. That's his planned feedstock.

My main question for everyone, Is this a decent deal? What else might
he need, equipment wise, capacity, etc. What else does he need to know?
He's got the habit of flying half-cocked into projects without thinking
them through or considering things carefully, and usually getting
himself in a bind or having a surplus of things falling into disuse. I
hate to see it, he's a hell of a guy, and I'd just like to give him the
best I can on information since he's asked my help (for a change).
