I run my dodge 1991 pickup on veg, and have put about 20,000 miles on waste veg oil that I’ve filtered myself.

I use denim pants (jeans) legs. I read somewhere it can do as well as a 5 micron filter. I hang 4 of them into a (black, in the sun) barrel and let gravity do the work. I rarely change the filters, since I’m only using gravity and the more gunk in the filter, the better it works.
