Flash steam

I had a similar idea to this but instead of injecting steam I though
of injecting diesel into the end of the cylinders, the compression at
the end should ignite the diesel giving a two stroke double ended
engine..

I would think that the issue would be governing the engine somehow
otherwise it may run away. Starting would also be a challenge.
