What I am trying to find out is things like if I have a battery bank
of lets say 10 batteries and for the sake of discussion they are
120amhr batteries, they are set up for 12V, My generator is charging
90V @ 3 amps will this work and how do the charge controllers work in
that situation.. How do I convert amps to watts or watts to amps
volts to amps or watts to volts. I have no issues wiring 12V or 120V
and making everything nice neat and clean, what I have issues with is
figuring out all the electronic terms to make sure I dont burn
everything to the ground. In the Aix X generator mentioned in the
previous letter you asked if it was 12V or 24 volt and 400Watts and
it takes a 28mph wind to get that output. At 28mph what is the speed
in RPM of the motor? If I have a battery bank that is under charged
and the turbine is spinning it slows down as it is feeding the banks,
Am I correct in this? Now once the banks are charged dosnt the wind
generator turn faster? Once the bank is charged dosnt that current
have to be fed to some other sort of draw such as water heater
elements or capacitors. Im starting to think I should take a
beginners electronics course at the local Community college. I also
bought the book solar power for dummies. Anyone thinking of buying
that book dont waste your money it didnt give any real information
that you cant find online.
