Probably one reason for growth is the same reason I'm heading south. In
Indiana, our property taxes last year increased anywhere from 25% to
100%. Mine went up 65% (which was an increase of $1,000 for me). I
believe there is another raise slated for next year again. For those of
us that don't have a whopping retirement fund, we look for other places
to relocate. I'm wanting to finish my degree at ETSU, so I'm looking
closer to Church Hill. I hope that I do not have the same experience as
you. It's worrisome, to say the least.
