Off the Grid Water Sources - Rain Water Harvesting

I hauled water the first 2 years I homesteaded and it wasn't that
bad. There are companies that will bring you water but can be
expensive. A sand point well can be drilled if water table is less
than 50 feet or a power drill can be rented for deeper wells. look
for streams or artesion seeps on your property and ask your
neighbors how deep their wells are. Rain water harvesting should
also be considered and is the cheapest and best water available.
