I just received this unit here not quite 2 weeks ago.

It was $955.28 with delivery and haul away of the old unit. I am
getting a rebate for delivery and haul away charges of $75.00.

Energy guide tag says it should use 422kWh/year which calculates to
about 1.16kWh/day. I have not had a chance to put the Kill-A-Watt on
it yet. There are only 2 of us here using it.

It replaced a similar sized GE unit that was at least 20 years old
and had good door gaskets. My Kill-A-Watt said the old unit was using
3.5kWh/day. I vacuumed the condenser twice a year. I'm hoping this
knocks another 2kWh/day off my bill to get me under 14kWh/day.

It is my third and final appliance replacement in 8 weeks. We will
see what these replacements do to my bill. I decided to replace this
BEFORE it forced me to like the other two appliances did. I dream
that these replacements might get me under 12kWh/day but that is
probably being very optomistic.
